Sacramento’s Financial Empowerment Center (FEC) offers free, one-on-one financial coaching services to address your unique circumstances. Financial coaches help each client to design a personal action plan that is relevant to their goals. Some of the key things they can support include: 

• Accessing safe and affordable checking and savings accounts 

• Establishing or improving credit 

• Reducing debt 

• Building savings (for emergencies and/or various long-term goals). 

The Sacramento’s FEC has contracted with Renters Helpline to assist with implementing the program.  Renters Helpline will identify clients with financial challenges and/or facing housing instability, provide education on FEC services and refer clients to FEC.
